What is the programme?
Ready, Steady Preschool and Light up and Learn is a Dry Arch programme. It is an extension of our 2 - 3 year old development programme, designed to help children in their Pre-School years and using a development framework.
It is an exciting programme for children, with emphasis on play and creativity. At the minute we are finalising the details of days and times with Termoncanice Primary School in line with the school return.
At Ready, Steady, Preschool, You leave your child off with Dry Arch Staff in Termoncanice Primary School or Central Primary School in Limavady and collect them again.
Who can apply to attend this programme?
To be eligible for this programme, your child must be aged 2 by September 2020. You do not have to be in a SureStart ward to be eligible for this programme.
This programme will be delivered in Termoncanice Primary School and Central Primary School
The programme aims to be delivered from September/October - March.
Children will attend 2 hours per day, the days will be confirmed.
Support from other Health Professionals is available.
Children attending Ready, Steady, Preschool and Light up and Learn must achieve a minimum of 80% attendance.
In addition to the monthly Stay, Play and Learn sessions it is a requirement that all parents attend a parenting programme in the year.
Speech and Language Support
The project’s Speech and Language Therapist will work alongside the Dry Arch staff to promote and develop language and communication.

The Dry Arch Centre are accepting ALL the application forms.
The deadline for application forms to be received is Wednesday 19th August at 5pm. Any forms received after this date will not accepted.
Late applications will not be considered after the closing date so allow sufficient time to complete and return the expression of interest form.
